A drama set in Ancient Rome reflecting the Caesarian civil wars through the eyes of children.
Music used by kind permission of Brandon and Derek Fiechter (Ancient Roman Music - Roman City and Julius Caesar)
By Kitty Langdon who says:
”My entry is on the theme of discord and my chosen era is that of Caesarean Rome. In looking for a creative way to explore the motives and repercussions of Caesar’s civil war, I decided to reflect the conflict through the lens of childhood rivalries in the streets of Rome. Not having access to costumes, props or a cast of thousands, I chose to use the medium of a radio podcast. The characters of the boys reflect the major figures in the struggle and the events are an echo of the collapse of the Republic of Rome.”
