Cupid and Psyche: Metamorphic love is an exploration of the recurring themes of change and development in the romantic tale of the couple. Psyche's subsequent development from a maiden to essentially a hero and finally a goddess is an example of metamorphic change in classic mythology. Her name itself 'Psyche', Greek for 'butterfly' evokes this imagery. I decided to create the film in a podcast format to better express the story whilst explaining the metamorphic connections. The views and opinions in this film are those of the author and do not necessarily reflect those of any member of the Faculty of Classics, University of Cambridge.
