2017 SIFK Inaugural Conference hosted by the University of Chicago’s new Institute on the Formation of Knowledge, this international event brought together leading philosophers, scientists, historians, anthropologists, linguists, legal scholars, economists, political scientists, archaeologists, technological thinkers, psychologists, sociologists and more to debate and delve into what knowledge is, how it came to be, and its role in contemporary society. The four-day forum included talks, debates, round-tables, panels, and discussions, where audience members questioned the speakers for a truly interactive experience. Simon Goldhill
