Learning Greek and Latin is a major part of the Classics course at Cambridge. We have an experienced team of dedicated language teachers who specialise in teaching the ancient languages at all levels from beginners to advanced students.

The teaching happens in small groups of around 6-10 and deals with the grammar and structure of the languages, as well as working on increasing your fluency in reading ancient texts. Most students are amazed at the speed with which their linguistic abilities increase and they are able to deal even more fruitfully with the ancient world by tackling texts in the original languages.
